Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Leaks and Rumors Summary
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has generated buzz lately. Many leaks focus on its design and size. Recently, alleged renders of the phone were shared online. A new leak has revealed some camera details. The phone has also received 3C certification, suggesting it may have satellite connectivity.
Camera Details for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
Tipster Ice Universe says the Galaxy S25 Ultra will get a small upgrade. It will mainly improve the ultra-wide camera. The flagship phone may include:
- A 200MP HP2 primary sensor (a slight upgrade from the previous model)
- A 50MP ISOCELL JN3 sensor (replacing the 12MP camera on the S24 Ultra)
- A 10MP 3x Sony IMX754 sensor
- A 50MP IMX854 lens with 5x zoom and 0.7um pixel size
Details about the front camera have not been revealed yet. The S25 Ultra’s 1/1.3-inch camera sensor is good. But, competitors use 1-inch sensors. This could leave the S25 Ultra slightly behind. The rumored 50MP 3x sensor upgrade may disappoint. The current 10MP (1/3.52-inch) sensor is outdated.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 3C Certification
The Galaxy S25 Ultra has passed China’s 3C certification. It is under the model number SM-9380, as spotted by MySmartPrice. This confirms the phone will support 45W fast charging, like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. There are no major improvements in charging speed. The adapter will be sold separately.
The certification hints that the S25 Ultra may have satellite connectivity. It’s unclear if this will be on all global models. The phone will support 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G networks.
