Google Pixel 9 Series Set to Launch on August 13
The Google Pixel 9 series is expected to be unveiled at a hardware launch event on August 13. Before the official launch, leaked marketing images have given us a glimpse of the design and specifications of the new phones. The series includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which will be available in four colors. All models will be powered by Google’s new Tensor G4 chip. The standard Pixel 9 will have two rear cameras, while the Pro models will have three.

Tipster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks), in collaboration with 91Mobiles, leaked images of the Pixel 9 series. The images show color options in dark grey, light grey, pink, and off-white. The phones will have displays with a small hole for the selfie camera.
The phones also appear to have shiny edges and a matte finish on the back. The Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have three rear cameras, while the standard Pixel 9 will have two.

- Pixel 9: 6.3-inch display, 12GB RAM, dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 48-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 10.5-megapixel front camera.
- Pixel 9 Pro: 6.3-inch display, 16GB RAM, triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor and two 48-megapixel sensors, and a 42-megapixel front camera.
- Pixel 9 Pro XL: 6.8-inch display, 16GB RAM, same camera setup as Pixel 9 Pro.
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold: 6.3-inch cover display, 8-inch main display, 16GB RAM, triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 10.5-megapixel sensor, and a 10.8-megapixel sensor, and a 10-megapixel front camera.
The series will include features like Google’s Gemini AI assistant, Circle to Search, Pixel Screenshots, and Emergency SOS. They will receive seven years of security updates and Pixel feature drop updates. Users will get free access to Google’s AI model Gemini Advanced for one year. The Pixel 9 Pro XL will come with a one-meter USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable (USB 2.0) in the box.
