A new microsite for the Pixel 9 series has launched on Flipkart, a popular Indian e-commerce site. It showcases the Google Pixel 9 Pro and confirms the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s launch in India. This marks Google’s first foldable smartphone in the country.

Pixel 9 Launch Date and Event Details
Flipkart has confirmed that the Google Pixel 9 series will launch in India on August 14, 2024. The global “Made By Google” event is scheduled for August 13 at 10:00 am PT (10:30 pm IST). This means the Pixel 9 series will be available in India right after the event.
Pixel 9 Series Models
The Google Pixel 9 series features the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Currently, only the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold are on the Flipkart microsite, but more models may be added soon.
Pixel 9 What We Know So Far
– The Pixel 9 Pro is shown in a cream/off-white shade with a triple-camera setup on the back.
– The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is black. It has a large, square camera island on the top left, instead of a camera bar.
– The series will have the new Tensor G3 chipset, better cameras, and AI features.
– The Pixel 9 series will offer seven years of Android OS and security updates.
