Honor to debut the slim Magic V3 foldable phone, MagicPad 2, and MagicBook Art 14 2024 at IFA 2024 on September 5.
Honor faced delays in launching the Magic V2 in Europe, starting in July 2023 and ending in January 2024. Now, it aims to speed up the release of the Magic V3, set for IFA 2024 in September.
Magic V3’s Global Launch at IFA
At IFA, Honor will unveil three devices: the Magic V3, MagicPad 2, and MagicBook Art 14 2024. The event kicks off on September 5.
The Magic V3 is notable for its slimness. It’s just 9.2mm thick and weighs 226g, rivaling the Galaxy S24 Ultra (8.6mm, 232g) and iPhone 15 Pro Max (8.3mm, 221g). In contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold6 (12.1mm, 239g) and Pixel 9 Pro Fold (10.5mm, 257g) are heavier.
IFA 2024 Highlights: Magic V3, MagicPad 2 & More
Despite its size, the Magic V3 is powerful, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 5,150mAh battery. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope lens, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens. Pricing is expected to be high, likely around £1,700/€2,000, similar to the Magic V2. There’s no word yet on the affordable Magic Vs3’s global release.
Besides the Magic V3, Honor will also launch the MagicPad 2 and MagicBook Art 14 2024. The MagicPad 2 has a 12.3-inch, 144Hz OLED display. It has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, eight speakers, and a 10,050mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The MagicBook Art 14 2024 is equally impressive. It’s 12.95mm thick, weighs 1.03kg, and features a 14.6-inch OLED display with a 3:2 ratio. It has a detachable webcam. It offers Intel Core Ultra options, Intel Arc graphics, up to 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage.
