The Magic V3 is now the slimmest foldable phone, measuring just 9.2mm when closed. Honor has a strong history of creating ultra-thin foldables. The previous model, the Magic V2, was 9.9mm thick, still thinner than many 2024 models like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and OnePlus Open.
Global Launch
Honor has launched the Magic V3 globally, surpassing the previous record. It was available in China for a few months before the global release.

The Magic V3 boasts a large display:

- Refresh Rate: 120Hz
When unfolded, it reveals a 7.92-inch OLED screen with:

A new Super Steel Hinge enhances durability while keeping the phone thin. Special coatings protect the internal screen from damage.
Powerful Performance
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 12GB of RAM. It supports features like:

- Notes Live Translation
Honor collaborated with Google Cloud for these enhancements.
Operating System and Battery Life
The Magic V3 runs on MagicOS 8.0.1, which is based on Android 14. It has a 5,150mAh battery with an E1 chipset for improved efficiency.

Its back features a triple camera setup:

- 40MP ultrawide camera
All designed in Honor’s signature style.
