Meanwhile, leaks are starting to surface. Recently, TechBoilers disclosed the prices for each Mate 70 model. Yet, since this information is unofficial, it should be treated with caution.
Huawei Mate 70 Series: Refined Design
The Huawei Mate 70 series seems to build on the Mate 60 series design, which had a circular camera. Yet, it appears more polished, giving the phones a fancier, bolder look. Also, there’s talk of a model with an octagonal camera. It’s probably the Huawei Mate 70 RS Ultimate, known for its unique design.
Huawei Mate 70 Series: Leaked Pricing
The leak doesn’t provide specifications but does share the pricing for each model. The standard Mate 70, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is expected to be priced at 5999 RMB (about USD 838). The Mate 70 Pro, which also has 12GB of RAM but increases storage to 512GB, is priced at 6999 RMB (around USD 977).
For more power, the Mate 70 Pro+ has 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It costs 8999 RMB (about USD 1256). At the top is the Mate 70 RS Ultimate. It has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It adds premium features and costs 10999 RMB (about USD 1536). It targets the high-end market.
The Huawei Mate 70 series should improve on the previous models. Earlier reports hinted at features like an ultrasonic scanner and a bigger battery. They promised a more powerful and refined user experience.
