HUAWEI has launched the nova Flip, a new foldable phone in the nova series. Aimed at young users, it features a stylish “matrix collection” design and vibrant colors. It’s a mid-range premium device.
The nova Flip is light, at 195g, and slim, at 6.88mm. HUAWEI employs a unique water drop hinge for a tighter fold, minimizing gaps when closed. Additionally, the hinge is durable, certified by Switzerland’s SGS for 1.2 million folds.
The phone features a 2.14-inch OLED screen outside and a 6.94-inch Full HD+ LTPO screen inside. It operates on HarmonyOS 4.2. For cameras, it has a 50MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP front camera. The battery is 4400mAh and supports 66W fast charging.
HUAWEI’s HarmonyOS AI Fun adds fun features. Users can customize the outer screen with animations, pet graphics, wallpapers, and mini-games. Additionally, the outer screen allows quick actions for apps and taking photos.

The HUAWEI nova Flip comes in green, white, pink, and black leather. The 256GB version starts at CNY 5288 (about $741). The 512GB model is CNY 5688 (about $797), while the 1TB version costs CNY 6488 (about $909). Pre-orders are now open in China.
