Apple will reveal the new iPhone 16 series at the “It’s Glowtime” event on September 9 at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST) at Apple Park. The iPhone 16 lineup will likely include four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

iPhone 16 Series Sale Date (Expected)
MacRumors says all four models could go on sale September 20 at Apple stores. Besides the iPhones, Apple may also introduce some accessories. These include new watches and AirPods. However, no details are confirmed about when these will be available. We should get all the information at the launch event, so it’s best to wait for the official announcement.
What We Know So Far About the iPhone 16 Series
- The iPhone 16 will be the smallest model with a 6.1-inch screen.
- The iPhone 16 Pro will have a slightly larger 6.3-inch screen.
- The iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have bigger screens, 6.7 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are expected to have the A18 chip. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max might feature the more powerful A18 Pro chip. The cameras on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are likely to match last year’s models. However, the Pro versions could upgrade to a 48MP ultra-wide camera.
All four models must also support Apple Intelligence. It’s a feature now only on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.
