Motorola has finally released the Android 13 update for its Edge 20 Fusion smartphone. However, it was late compared to other brands. The 1.64GB update adds app customization, a new media player, and better notification controls.

What’s New in the Motorola Android 13 Update

After installing the update, you’ll see several improvements in the Android system and apps. You can now personalize your phone more, such as matching app icons to your wallpaper. To do this, just touch and hold a blank space on your home screen and choose “Personalize.”

The Moto Widget on your home screen has also been updated. The new expandable version, called Adapt, lets you add and see more information. If you prefer the old version or want a different one, drag the current widget to the top of the screen to remove it. Then, touch and hold the home screen. Go to “Widgets.” Select “Moto Widget.” Drag the version you want onto your home screen.

In the settings, you can now set certain apps to use a different language than your phone’s default. You’ll also control notifications and privacy more. You can adjust notification permissions and limit which photos and videos each app can access.ss.

The Gestures menu has moved to a new location: Settings > Gestures. This makes it easier to turn gestures on or off.

This update adds useful features. But, it shows how slow Motorola is with updates. Other brands are already testing Android 15. This may be the last update the Edge 20 Fusion receives since it was launched in 2021 with Android 11.
