Motorola Edge 50 Launch Date in India
The Motorola Edge 50 will be launched in India on August 1. After the launch, you can buy it from Motorola.in, Flipkart, and other retail partners. The phone will be available in three colors: Jungle Green (Vegan Leather), Pantone Peach Fuzz (Vegan Leather), and Koala Green (Vegan Suede).
Motorola Edge 50 Specifications
The Motorola Edge 50 will be a mid-range smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 AE SoC, offering “AI Powered Experiences.” It will have a vapor chamber for cooling, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It will run Android 14 and receive three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
The phone will feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. It will have a 6.67-inch 1.5K p-OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. Additionally, the Motorola Edge 50 will be the slimmest smartphone with MIL-810H Military-grade certification.
For cameras, the Motorola Edge 50 will have a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP Sony-LYT 700C primary sensor with OIS, a 10MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide lens. It will also have a 32MP front camera for selfies. The phone will be IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
