OnePlus Ace 5: What to Expect
Earlier this year, OnePlus released the Ace 3 in China. It later became global as the OnePlus 12R. Now, leaker Digital Chat Station has hinted at a new phone, likely called the OnePlus Ace 5. This model will skip the Ace 4 and follow the Ace 3.
Expected Features of the OnePlus Ace 5
The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to have:
- A 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO micro-curved screen (a change from previous dual-curved designs)
- The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip
- A 50MP main camera
- An alert slider
- A 6,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging
These specs are similar to the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, which launched in China in June. However, the Ace 5 may be more affordable.
Launch Timeline
The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to launch later this year. The global version, possibly called the OnePlus 13R, could arrive in early 2025.

OnePlus is also set to launch the OnePlus 13. It’s expected to feature:
