OnePlus Free Display Replacement
A user named Starcommander on X announced that OnePlus’s Red Cable Club in India now offers a lifetime display warranty. This “Lifetime Free Screen Upgrade” is available for OnePlus 8 Pro, 8T, 9, and 9R users, allowing free display replacements. Additionally, Android Authority confirmed the launch of a new initiative called “Free Screen Diagnostics and Service Initiative.” This program includes three free services:
- Comprehensive Diagnostics
- Screen Upgrades and Replacements
- Deep Cleaning Services
These services are only for discontinued OnePlus smartphones. OnePlus has teamed up with suppliers to enhance display technology. The new displays are more resistant to moisture and environmental factors. Currently, these benefits are limited to India. However, OnePlus plans to bring them to the US soon. It’s uncertain if newer flagship models will receive similar benefits. To access these free services, users must join the Red Cable Club.
