OnePlus OxygenOS 15 Update

OxygenOS 15 update for OnePlus phones to bring iOS-inspired Control Center, customizable lock screen, and new Camera app features.

OnePlus is Developing OxygenOS 15: Key Features Leaked

OnePlus is working on the OxygenOS 15 update for its smartphones. This follows the global launch of Android 15. The update will change the user interface (UI), notably in the Control Centre and volume slider. Some changes may resemble the interfaces of iOS (iPhones) and HyperOS (Xiaomi devices).

OxygenOS 15 Update Features

Reports say OxygenOS 15 will have a revamped Control Centre. It will include a 2×2 grid media player, a 1×2 brightness slider, and a volume panel in a 1×2 grid. Like iOS, users can swipe down from the left for notifications, and from the right for the Control Centre. The volume slider will also behave like iOS, expanding and shrinking with presses.

The update might add a “Live Photos” option in the Camera app. It could also introduce a new feature around the front camera’s cutout. It should also improve lock screen customization. Users may be able to change the clock’s position, color, and font, and add 3D effects. There’s no official release date. But, OnePlus should release the beta of OxygenOS 15 by late September or early October.
