OPPO has announced that it will release the new K12x 5G smartphone in India on July 29, 2024. Before the launch, OPPO has shared some key features of the phone, including its design, colors, durability, display, battery, and charging speed. Here’s a closer look at the details.
OPPO K12x 5G: Design and Durability
- Colors: The OPPO K12x 5G will come in Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet.
- Design: It has a flat design with a vertical dual camera setup on the back and a ring-shaped LED flash called the Cosmic Flashlight, similar to the OnePlus Nord CE4 5G.
- Size and Weight: The phone is very slim at 7.68 mm and weighs 186 grams.
- Protection: It has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and features a 360-degree Damage-Proof Armour Body for extra durability. It also meets the MIL-STD-810H standard for toughness.

- Display: The phone will have a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and Widevine L1 certification. It includes Splash Touch technology, allowing the touchscreen to work even when wet. The screen is protected by reinforced Panda Glass.
- Battery and Charging: It will come with a 5,100 mAh battery and support 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. The fast charger is included in the box.
- Additional Features: The phone will have AI Linkboost technology for strong signal strength and faster network recovery in challenging environments. It will also support Dual View Video, letting users record videos with both front and rear cameras simultaneously.
