OxygenOS 15 introduces a revamped Control Center, Live Photos, and Dynamic Island-like notifications. Check out the iOS-inspired updates!
OxygenOS 15 is bringing some big changes, and it’s starting to look a lot like iOS. OnePlus is currently testing OxygenOS 15 in beta, and we’ve gotten a look at some of the updates. Here’s a breakdown of the new features coming your way:
1. Revamped Control Center
The Control Center is getting a fresh design that combines elements from iOS and HyperOS. At the top, you’ll find two toggles. Below them are a media player, brightness slider, and volume panel. You’ll also see circular quick settings toggles. You can customize the layout to your liking.
The Control Center and Notification Area are now separate. Swipe down from the right for the Control Center and from the left for notifications. Prefer the old design? You can switch back to it.
2. iOS-Like Volume Slider
The volume slider now works like iOS. When you press it, it starts as a large slider and shrinks when pressed again, giving you more control.
3. Live Photos
The camera app now includes Live Photos, similar to the feature on iOS. This captures short video clips whenever you take a picture, making your photos more dynamic.
4. “Never Settle” Easter Egg
For longtime OnePlus fans, the classic Never Settle Easter egg is back. Just type “1+” into the calculator and hit equals to see the iconic message appear again.
5. Lock Screen Customization
You can now fully customize your lock screen in OxygenOS 15. Change the clock’s size, position, color, and font, and enjoy a 3D depth effect. Plus, there will be a variety of presets to choose from.
6. Dynamic Island-Like Notification
OxygenOS 15 is getting a new feature like **iOS’s Dynamic Island**. Now, notifications will appear around the **center punch hole** instead of the left. This update adds a modern touch to the interface.
Beta Release Coming Soon
The OxygenOS 15 beta is expected to be released by the end of this month or early next month. Keep an eye out if you want to try these new iOS-inspired features!
