Qualcomm has launched the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, its latest 4nm mid-range processor. This chip features built-in AI and supports large language models like Baichuan-7B and Llama 2. It’s an upgrade from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which powered devices like the realme 13 Pro series.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 offers 20% better performance and 45% lower power use than its predecessor. Its new Adreno GPU boosts performance by up to 40%. The Qualcomm AI Engine enhances AI capabilities by over 30%.
Key specs include a 12-bit triple ISP, 4K sHDR support, and a built-in 5G modem. This modem allows for dual 5G SIM use. Additionally, it supports Bluetooth 5.4 and advanced location features.
