Qualcomm announces Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC with 10% better CPU, 30% better GPU, and 20% better AI performance, expected in devices by Q4 2024.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is much better than the 2022 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. The Kryo CPU is 10% faster. The Adreno GPU has over 30% better graphics. The Hexagon NPU boosts AI performance by 20%. Interestingly, Qualcomm skipped the Snapdragon 6 Gen 2.
Key features are: triple 12-bit ISPs, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. It has Qualcomm FastConnect 6700.

- Includes a Hexagon NPU for AI tasks, supporting INT8 and INT16.
- Supports up to 12GB LPDDR5 memory.
- Offers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and multi-satellite GPS.
- Equipped with USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 and UFS 3.1 storage.
- Supports Quick Charge 4+.
Availability:
Qualcomm hasn’t said when the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 will be available. It’s expected to power devices starting in Q4 2024.
