Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi 14R in China quietly. This phone is not part of the upcoming Redmi Note 14 series. It is a separate, affordable model for the Chinese market.

The Redmi 14R has a Snapdragon chipset, a 120Hz display, dual rear cameras, and a big, fast-charging battery. It also runs Xiaomi’s new HyperOS, based on Android 14.

Redmi 14R Price and Colors

In China, the Redmi 14R starts at CNY 1,099 (around Rs 13,000) for the 4GB/128GB model. It also offers 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB options. Their prices are CNY 1,499 (about Rs 17,750), CNY 1,699 (about Rs 20,100), and CNY 1,899 (about Rs 22,450), respectively.

The phone is available in Deep Ocean Blue, Shadow Black, Lavender, and Olive Green. There is no info on its availability outside China. It feels like a step down from the Redmi 13 5G.

Redmi 14R Specifications

The Redmi 14R is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a 6.68-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with 600 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has a 5,160mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, the Redmi 14R has a 13MP main rear camera and an additional secondary sensor. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera inside a waterdrop notch. It runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.

The phone supports 4G, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and comes with a USB Type-C port. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack for convenience.
