Both phones are likely to share similar features. This suggests the POCO X7 might be a rebranded Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. However, there will be camera differences. Xiaomi plans to sell the POCO X7 at a lower price to increase accessibility. This strategy seems wise.
Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G & POCO X7 Found in IMEI Database
More news has come out about the Redmi Note 14 series. First, the Redmi Note 14 5G will now be called the POCO M7 Pro 5G. Next, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is set to be rebranded as the POCO X7. Both devices share the codename “amethyst.” They will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. This is a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is model 24090RA29G, and the POCO X7 is 24095PCADG. Recently, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G got 3C certification for 45W fast charging. This is less than the 67W charging of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. Despite a better chipset, the slower charging might be a downside.
The regular Redmi Note 14 5G now supports 45W fast charging, up from 33W in the Note 13 5G. However, the Pro model’s fast charging is reduced, which is a setback. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip. The series is expected to launch by the end of the month.
