Xiaomi unveils Redmi Note 14 Pro+ with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 50MP camera, 6200mAh battery, and 90W fast charging. Launching on Sept 26.
Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 14 Pro series on September 26th in China. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ appeared on Geekbench AI. It will be the first to use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.
For context, the Note 13 Pro+ used the MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chip. The Note 13 Pro had the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. This time, both models will likely have the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip.
The new Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 should be 20% faster. It will also be 45% more efficient, thanks to TSMC’s 4nm process. Its Qualcomm Adreno 810 GPU promises up to 40% improved performance. Also, the built-in AI engine should be 30% better than the last generation.
The phone will come with up to 16GB of RAM, with options like 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB, according to leaks.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ should have a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 60mm 2.5X telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
The company confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will have a 6200mAh battery and 90W fast charging. The Note 14 Pro is expected to have a 5500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. This is an upgrade from the 5100mAh battery in the Note 13 Pro.
All Redmi Note 14 Pro models will have IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. They will feature a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
