Vivo V40 series Launch Date
The Vivo V40 Series will launch in India this week, on August 7th. You can watch it live on Vivo’s YouTube channel at noon. Pre-orders will start soon after, with sales following later in the month.
Vivo V40 series Design
Both models in the Vivo V40 Series will have a similar design with a new camera bump and a thickness of 7.58mm. The V40 Pro will come in Titanium Grey and Ganges Blue, while the V40 will also have a Lotus Purple option. The phones will feature a curved glass front and a plastic frame, with IP68 water and dust resistance—a first for the V-series. The V40 Pro will also have a large 5,500mAh battery.
Vivo V40 series Camera
Vivo has unveiled the camera specs for the Vivo V40 Pro. It features four 50MP sensors: a main camera with OIS, a telephoto lens, an ultrawide lens, and a front camera for selfies. Notably, the front camera offers a 92-degree field of view. The telephoto lens provides 2X optical zoom and 50X digital zoom. Collaborating with ZEISS, Vivo’s camera system includes five portrait modes with different focal lengths.
